Valencia, Spain – June 12, 2025 – EnXylaScope proudly announces its impactful participation in the European Biomass Conference & Exhibition (EUBCE 2025), which took place in Valencia from June 9th to 12th. This event served as an invaluable space for sharing the project’s pioneering approach to leveraging enzyme technologies in advancing Europe’s sustainable bioeconomy.

The EnXylaScope team, represented by AITIIP and CELIGNIS, made the most of EUBCE 2025 to push forward their objectives of developing cutting-edge, sustainable solutions through the following:

Presenting Groundbreaking Results: EnXylaScope used the platform to unveil significant advancements in enzyme technology within the Horizon Europe framework. The team presented how novel enzymes can revolutionize industries by transforming xylan into bio-based ingredients for cosmetics, personal care, and nutraceuticals, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable European market.

Creating New Synergies for Innovation: A key strength of EnXylaScope is its ability to connect innovators, researchers, and industry leaders within the bioeconomy ecosystem. Throughout the event, the team engaged with stakeholders, discussing potential new partnerships aimed at scaling enzyme-driven solutions for bio-based materials, aiming to leave a lasting imprint on sustainable industrial processes.

Shaping the Future of EU Funding: Looking ahead, EnXylaScope’s team participated in discussions about the upcoming Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) calls, set for September. This engagement reflects the project’s long-term vision to influence future EU funding streams, ensuring the continued development of high-impact research and sustainable practices.

The EUBCE 2025 provided us with the ideal opportunity to showcase EnXylaScope’s progress and solidify our place at the forefront of enzyme-driven solutions for a sustainable future. The insights and connections we’ve gained are instrumental as we continue to innovate and drive forward the transition to a circular bioeconomy.

EnXylaScope extends sincere thanks to all who visited and engaged with the team, exchanged ideas, and contributed to the success of the event. We look forward to future collaborations and invite others to connect with us to explore how we can together accelerate the green revolution in Europe.
